My Favorite Animal

Hi everyone, today I’m going to talk about my favorite animal. I think it is really hard to choose just one animal because all they are amazing, but if I have to choose one, it would we Komodo dragon, which is a kind of giant lizard, in fact it is the world biggest lizard, they grow to an average length of 2–3 meters and weigh around 70kg, which makes people call them “living dinosaurs” or “dragons”.

This animal like many others is on the verge of extinction, in the case of the Komodo dragon there are approximately only 5,000 specimens of this variety of lizards, and the situation is even worse because there may now be only 352 females having babies in the wild, so it’s very probably that if this situation continues as it goes right now, in the near future they may not survive.

Hopefully there are organizations that protect Komodo dragons from illegal hunting and other kind of destructive circumstances like volcanoes and earthquakes, one of these organizations is the Komodo National Park located in Indonesia, which was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991, recognizing the labor of protects animals in the verge of extinction, in this case in specific Komodo dragons.

We have to become aware about these kind of problems. I hope you have enjoyed reading see you again until next time

My Favorite Book

Hi everyone today I’m going to talk about my favorite’s book which is The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, a short novel by Lovecraft, a very well-known American horror fiction author.

I read this book because I had to do a high school’s work, which consisted in recommend a book to the class and also because I wanted to show to my classmates a book that probably most of them didn’t knew.

This novel was written in 1927 and the story takes place in ProvidenceRhode Island. The novel, set in 1918, describes how a guy called Charles Dexter Ward, a young man from a wealthy Rhode Island family becomes obsessed with his distant ancestor, Joseph Curwen, who was an alleged wizard with strange habits. Ward physically is very similar to Curwen, and also is interested in his ancestor strange habits.
The story is mainly focused on the investigation done by ,Marinus Bicknell, Ward’s family doctor , in order to discover the reason for Ward's strange physiological changes. Willett discovers that Ward had spent the past several years attempting to discover the grave of Joseph Curwen.
During the course of the plot, the doctor begins to reveal the truth behind the legends surrounding Charles Dexter Ward ancestor, an eighteenth-century shipping entrepreneur and alleged wizard and also discovers that apparently, Charles Dexter Ward is a reincarnation of Joseph Curwen.
This book is one of my favorites mainly because of his story, which I think is very interesting, ‘cause I’m also interested in things related to wizardry and that kind of things.

A concert i've been to

In 2014 finally my favourite band  called "HIM" came to Chile for the first time ever, this finish ''Love Metal" band is even nowadays my favourite band, so i think this is by far the best concert I’ve ever been.

The Show was in Caupolicán Theatre which is one of my favorite in Santiago, 'cause you can see the show from every corner of the place, fortunately I was right in the front of the band ,specifically in the front of Migue , HIM's bass player, even then I see them on stage I still couldn't believe I was in front of them.

They're well know for being such wonderful musicians and also because of their lead singer, Ville who i think is  one of the best singers I've ever listened live. I was very surprised, cause i was a little bit worried before the concert because I had doubts respecting of the sound of the band in a live concert cause sometimes there are huge differences in the quality of sound of a band live comparing their studio records.

Ville Valo, the singer, spoke in Spanish a lot of times, saying "Muchas gracias" to the audience or when he was presenting the rest of the band with the names of their role in the band, he pronounced perfectly every word.

15 minutes before the show was near to end, there was an earthquake in Antofagasta, a city placed in the north of Chile, most of the audience didn't even know, but then some part of the audience started to talk each other about an earthquake in our country. Hopefully the earthquake was not as devastating as we thought initially.
